“就一名球员几场比赛表现不佳或者出现任何类似情况而言，我不会立刻做出反应。球员们都会经历起起落落，我们本赛季开局阶段就遇到了这种情况，但我们想给球员们一个保持自信的机会，向他们展现出对他们的信心，让他们有机会通过投篮摆脱低迷状态，或者以不同的方式去影响比赛。”乌度卡说道。
“所以，我不会仓促做出反应。无论如何，说到底，更重要的还是谁能完成终结，不同的夜晚会有不同的球员发挥作用。我们的首发阵容具有一定的良好连贯性，我觉得大家上赛季就看到了这一点。球员们有时会表现挣扎，但我认为他们最终都能解决问题。本赛季开局阶段，杰伦-格林、范弗里特和申京的投篮表现都没有达到他们应有的水准，我们知道他们会走出这种状态的，而且我觉得他们很快就做到了。”乌度卡继续说道。
