法媒RMC指出，姆巴佩的这番言论，体现出他与弗洛伦蒂诺的关系和纳赛尔截然不同。
姆巴佩在采访中表示：“弗洛伦蒂诺是我的贵人，从第一天开始他就信任我，帮助我和家人，直击我的内心。无论场上还是场外，我都会竭尽全力让他高兴。对我而言，他是世界上最好的主席。”
这和姆巴佩与巴黎主席纳赛尔的冷淡关系截然相反。此前姆巴佩发表离队感言时，甚至没有提到纳赛尔的名字。去年夏天，当姆巴佩告知纳赛尔自己不会续约将自由身离队时，两人的关系恶化。随后纳赛尔剥夺了姆巴佩参加海外季前赛的机会，此事在姆巴佩选择放弃忠诚奖金后告一段落。
