比赛中，法国球迷的助威声十分强势，而在比赛结束的瞬间，樊振东用双手示意现场的球迷“淡定”。
赛后，樊振东做出了一个双手下压的动作，对此他解释说，自己喜欢足球，特别是曾经效力于皇家马德里的C罗是自己最为喜爱的球星之一，“C罗在诺坎普也有这样的情况，承受着巨大的压力。我希望从这个动作中汲取更多力量，希望自己能够继续前进。在这种紧张的氛围能够做到很多事情，我很满意自己的表现。
上个月20日，皇马官方公众号释出了樊振东的专访，谈到自己印象最深的皇马球迷时刻，樊振东说了3个名场面，其中就包括C罗在诺坎普进球后双手下压。
当时樊振东表示：早期我记忆最深的画面基本都是国家德比。一个是贝尔边路超车传给三秒后的自己，一个是C罗面对平托高高跃起的头球，还有C罗摆脱皮克进球后做出示意安静的手势。
